COUNCIL OF FASHION DESIGNERS OF AMERICA (CFDA)
In partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the NYC Economic Development Corporation, this 10,000 sf renovation in the heart of Manhattan’s Garment District transformed a former manufacturing floor into an incubator for emerging fashion designers. The design celebrates the building’s industrial past by exposing original terra cotta columns, brickwork, and concrete floors, while introducing glass walls, flexible partitions, and custom lighting. Each of the 12 studios was envisioned as a boutique storefront—giving designers their own creative identity within a collaborative space. The project has been featured in Vogue, Forbes, and The Huffington Post for its innovative, resourceful approach to creative workspace design.
